Yeah, from what I read in the article in WiW, along with yours and Oinokhoe’s thoughts on him, he has a very undeniable Dionysian connection that has intrigued me, but I never really gave it much thought until recently.

But they give themselves away in minor ways.Too much glint of light in the eye. A wrong gesture. Too long and curious a glance..." He definitely has a strong Dionysian connection - something that he, himself, consciously cultivated - though it's also become a bit of a cliche to speak of him in that manner. On the other hand, things wouldn't be cliches if there wasn't some kernel of truth behind them.
