In other news, I’ll be participating in the Pagan Blog Project 2012
Although I suspect my non-Project posts will still be mostly poetry (I’ve got a couple done in the wings, but I’m unsure if I want to post them yet). Hopefully initiatives like this will also get me talking and blogging again.
I also suspect a lot of my posts will centre around my growing interactions with the Indigenous community and my acceptance of being Métis, and how that interacts with my past spirituality. So.. don’t be surprised if I go into a two-page rant on racism or cultural appropriation when I started out talking about “purification” or “dance”. Haha. :)

Good for you, Nykti! It helps that we have a support group, huh?
I do hope you write more about your Metis background and your feelings about it. I don’t quite understand your reaction and hope that, if/when you post about it I will understand better and maybe offer advice. Just throwin’ that out there.

i don’t know how much I’ll write about it, but it’ll definitely be there, as I am becoming more open and comfortable with being an indigenous activist.
